At the intersection of education and food safety lies a commitment to fostering the next generation of industry leaders. This year, the FMI Foundation, in partnership with The Safe Quality Food Institute (SQFI), celebrates 16 exceptional scholars with the 2024 Food Safety Auditing Scholarship. These promising individuals represent the future of food safety, being awarded $3,000 scholarships and educational travel grants to attend SQF Unites, the premier event for the global food safety and quality community.
Investing in Tomorrow’s Food Safety Leaders
Investing in the future of young food safety professionals is paramount to ensuring all consumers have access to safe food. This year’s scholarship recipients are given the opportunity to jump-start their careers at the preeminent event for food safety professionals. It is an honor to support these professionals as they bring their skills to the table.
The 2024 class of scholarship recipients includes four Ph.D. candidates, eight master’s students, and four undergraduate students. Their diverse academic and professional pursuits highlight a shared passion for advancing food safety standards and practices.
