This training meets Ohio Department of Health Person-In-Charge (PIC) Certification in Food Protection requirements by providing the knowledge to train and oversee food handlers and function as a reliable food safety resource in the retail establishment.
This course offers a deeper dive into food safety than the Food Handler course, while being more concise and focused than the Food Protection Manager course.
Content and design make it easy for PICs to apply key food safety principles to ensure daily operations align with recommendations from the most recent FDA Food Code, meeting Ohio-specific requirements for the "Person in Charge."
Duration: 120 minutes or less.
Certification does not expire; it is valid indefinitely under current Ohio regulations.
