We appreciate the opportunity to submit comments to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) regarding the agency’s proposed rule to update the food packages under the WIC program. FMI supports the WIC program and appreciates FNS’s work to conduct a review of the WIC food packages based on the latest nutrition science while expanding participant choice and flexibility.
