On March 24, 2015, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA or the Agency) published in the Federal Register a notice announcing the establishment of a docket to obtain comments to inform the Agency’s development of the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) 1 implementation work plans. The notice also announced a public meeting entitled “FDA Food 2 Safety Modernization Act: Focus on Implementation Strategy for Prevention-Oriented Food Safety Standards.” This meeting was held on April 23-24, 2015.
