The Food Marketing Institute (FMI) respectfully submits the following comments in response to the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA’s) proposal to amend 21 CFR, Part 1309 to require manufacturers, distributors, importers and exporters of pseudoephedrine, ephedrine and phenylpropanolamine to implement new security requirements to prevent the theft and diversion of these List I chemicals. 69 Fed.
