As a result of last week’s terrible tragedy, the top priority throughout the federal government over the coming year must be to ensure the safety and security of our country. However, in response to the agency’s request for comments, the Food Marketing Institute1 (FMI) offers the following thoughts on the food safety priorities for the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA’s) Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN) for fiscal year 2002. 66 Fed.
