FMI Members and NonMembers - $60.00
Description:
A certified food protection manager in a retail food establishment equates to better food safety practices and fewer critical violations. The SafeMark® Food Protection Manager training is an 8-hour/9-module online course with both English and Spanish versions available. Content is updated to the 2022 Food Code standards.
This training provides the necessary tools to become a Certified Food Protection Manager and meets the Person in Charge requirements in your regulatory jurisdictions. The comprehensive course covers all areas of food safety, following HACCP principles, in an easy-to-understand manner, presented through retail-focused scenarios.
Duration: 8 hours. Certification is valid for 5 years.
Note: Some states have different training requirements. SafeMark® offers state-specific training that is required, and most often, approved by the state regulatory agency. See all our training products and review additional courses we offer for retailers operating in states with additional requirements.
After successfully completing the Food Manager training, you will take the SafeMark® Grocery Manager Certification Exam. Accredited by ANAB against the Conference for Food Protection standards, this exam is the only grocery-oriented exam that meets Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) and “Person in Charge” government regulatory requirements. The certification is valid for 5 years. Learn more through the
