Tops Markets will be hosting a Hurricane Relief Donation Drive across its four state footprint (New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Massachusetts) on Friday, September 8 and Saturday, September 9, 2017 to assist those affected by Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma, and anticipated impact of Hurricane Jose.

Contribution:

As a result of the generosity of the community, TOPS officials are pleased to announce that over $23,000 was raised and four tractor trailers full of donations will be transported to hurricane victims via Feeding America. One of the trailers in particular was donated by TOPS and was filled with water, canned vegetables, and bleach to help the victims of these storms.

Objectives:

To collect donations for the victims of both Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.

Impact:

The program collected 4 trailers worth of non perishable food items to be sent to hurricane victims. In addition over $23,000 was raised to support relief efforts.

As donations were made, many shared stories of friends and family that were impacted by the storm, while others shared their concerns about loved ones in the path of Hurricane Irma. It was wonderful to see the outpouring of support and genuine desire of the community to want to help those in need.”
