Retail Health and Wellness Committee and Council Meeting

Dear FMI Food Retail Health and Wellness Committee,

We look forward to seeing you at the next meeting of the FMI Food Retail Health and Wellness Committee on Wednesday, November 1st and the next meeting of the FMI Health and Wellness Council on Thursday, November 2nd. 

We will begin the FMI Food Retail Health and Wellness Committee meeting on Wednesday, November 1st at 12pm at the FMI Office. Agenda items include exploring partnership opportunities between the committee and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Food and Culinary Supermarket Subgroup, exploring opportunities for a community of Corporate Retail RDs, and a review of Health and Wellness questions in FMI research studies. 

The Council meeting will begin with a dinner on Wednesday, November 1st at 6pm at a location to be determined. 

As a reminder, the FMI Health and Wellness Council is comprised of food retail companies and supplier/service provider companies who are all members of FMI. 

Then, we will meet at the FMI Office at 8 am and agenda items include discussions of National Family Meals Month, a project update on Best Practices for Health and Wellness in Food Retail, a presentation from Partnership for Drug-Free Kids, and an update on FMI activities that intersect with Health and Wellness. Please see the agenda, located on the tab above, for additional details.

The Council meeting will conclude on Thursday around 2pm.
