The 2025 Gold Plate Awards open for nominations on September 12, 2025.

We’re setting the table and dusting off the mitts for this September’s Family Meals Month! And instead of serving up the same meal from last year, the FMI Foundation team has been sweating over the stove to refine new recipes, names, and flavors for the new & improved Gold Plate Awards.
This year’s Gold Plate Awards will grant winners a variety of exciting new awards, like Strongest Retailer/Supplier Partnership, Best Charitable Giving Effort, Best Digital Marketing Campaign, Best Civility Program, Best Meal with Furry Friends (Pets!), and more. And what’s more: every Family Meals Month or Movement campaign or program from 2025 is eligible to apply—there are no membership requirements or category constraints. Whether you’re a supplier of food, a community organization doing good work to promote family meals, service provider to the food retail industry, or an independent food retailer, you’re all welcome to grab a gold plate for our table.
This year’s event will be a digital only experience; we’re casting off the award ceremony for this year and instead working with our award winners to share more personal stories and stories of impact.
